Counseling Courses

Why work with us?

At Restoring Hope New England, we want to help train as many people as possible in counseling and grow the network of people interested in counseling in New England. For this purpose, we work with the Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation (CCEF) and its School of Biblical Counseling. 

Working with us helps you access special rates for counseling courses. Groups of 5+ students are needed to access these rates; we try to help people find each other so they can benefit from this opportunity and also learn in community. Additionally, you are invited to:

  • Special New England counseling events, such as our annual Regional Conference or monthly Lunch & Learn discussions.
  • Audit select courses that are otherwise only available as part of Westminster Theological Seminar’s Master’ of Arts in Counseling program.
  • Receive additional discounts on events

All Counseling Classes Are Online!

About CCEF's Counseling Courses

CCEF’s School of Biblical Counseling offers two certificates in biblical counseling by completing six counseling courses. If you want to get one or both certificates, you’d have to take these courses as regular credit courses, including all tests, assignments, etc. If you are interested in these courses but you don’t need or want to work toward the certificates and don’t want the stress of assignments and tests, you can audit these courses. 

What is Restoring Hope New England's Role?

CCEF Counseling Courses (credit or audit)

CCEF offers a discount for its certificate track courses when a group of five or more people sign up as a learning group. At Restoring Hope New England, we help people interested in taking CCEF classes to find each other and benefit from this option.

Additional Audit Courses

CCEF’s School of Biblical Counseling designed many more biblical counseling courses than those currently offered in the counseling certificate program. Some of these courses are only available for students of the Master’s of Arts (MAC) program at Westminster Theological Seminary. Each year, Restoring Hope New England offers one of these non-certificate track courses for audit.
