Noah is a campus minister at Dartmouth College, serving as director of Vox Christian Fellowship and a local business owner, running the Upper Valley Nighthawks. Noah and his wife, Alyssa, have three children and he loves music, golf, reading, eating doughnuts, and a good cup of Earl Grey tea. The Cranes are active members at Christ Redeemer Church in Hanover, New Hampshire. His faith has been shaped by his family, close friends, the local church, and the works of Tim Keller, John MacArthur, Charles Spurgeon, and RC Sproul.
Karl grew up in western Massachusetts. He met his wife, Robyn, at an overseas exchange program orientation in 1976, and, upon graduating from UVM in 1980, he settled in the Upper Valley, working as a programmer and seeking a homestead where to build a family. Karl retired in 2020 after a long career at Dartmouth Health. He now enjoys sports, woodworking, construction, and supporting his family, and he serves at the First Congregational Church of Woodstock in whatever ways he can.
Robyn Huck is a co-founder of Restoring Hope New England. She was a counselor and then a counseling mentor for the group from its start up until 2025 when she “retired.” Now on the board of directors, Robyn still speaks at various events, because she’s not very good at being retired. She is also the administrative assistant of her church in Vermont.
Robyn has written for the Journal of Biblical Counseling and has been a speaker at national and local conferences as well as many retreats. Robyn and her husband, Karl, have three grown children with two more married into the flock and four grandchildren. Robyn enjoys time with her family, traveling with Karl, and learning to wait with patience for what God will do next.
Lisa Kaija began exploring her faith as a teen and first encountered God as a college student in the Upper Valley in the early 80’s. She came to understand the Bible through studying with peers, mentorship in several churches and active involvement with youth ministry. Lisa and her husband, Kevin, live in the Kaija family homestead in Reading, Vermont, where they raised five children. They thoroughly enjoy gardening, hiking, biking, skiing and other vigorous outdoor activities, particularly with their four young grandchildren. Lisa attends Brownsville Community Church where she teaches Sunday School and participates in a small group.
After a brief career as a mechanical engineer, Glenn felt the Lord calling him and his wife Cheryl to attend seminary. After graduation from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in 1992 Glenn served as the pastor of an Evangelical Free Church in Nebraska for 13 years and is currently in his 21st year as the pastor of Cornerstone Evangelical Free Church in Derby, Vermont, where he also serves on the New England District Board of Ministerial Standing for the EFCA. Glenn and Cheryl were married in 1987 and have six adult children and eight grandchildren (so far). Glenn is especially grateful for the Lord’s rescuing grace in his life, marriage, and ministry through the counselors and counseling resources of Restoring Hope New England.
Pam Tengdin earned a master’s degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School many years ago on her way to serving overseas with her husband, Doug. They landed in North Africa for a short while, but God brought them home and eventually brought them to the Upper Valley in 2000. Pam and Doug spent many years homeschooling their children and even provided care for an aging parent in their home during that time. As that season of life wrapped down, Pam completed the 5-course Certificate Program in Biblical Counseling through CCEF New England and now finds many opportunities for informal counseling. She is an active member and deaconess at Christ Redeemer Church in Hanover, NH.
